When it comes to fitness do what works for you! 
I planned on starting another round of my step program, but I was going back and forth between that program and another program that focuses on lifting weights. I saw amazing results, and I love both programs. I ended up finding a hybrid calendar that combined both of the workouts I love!

I’m on day 3 and I’m loving the combination of lifting and cardio using the step!😍 The perk of my virtual workout library is there’s so many workout programs and you can find one that fits you best! .

As a movment teacher and educator do you know how often I hear, I don’t have time?
And its not becuase I think people are not busy but let me ask you. 
How long are you spending on social media, or netflix, or???
My suggestion {harsh as it may sound } is take a clear look and WHAT you are spending your time on. 
ASK yourself, how improtant is it that you workout, have a connection with your body and feel good inside your skin? 
If it is important, make space. 
Again, even if just 5 minutes. Take it slow and sort thru those "I’m too busy feelings" (we have ALL been there) and MOVE. 
If you have time to scroll, you have time to stroll.

The one thing I want to get out there, is that you do not need to have the tiniest waist, the biggest butt or the thickest legs, just stay healthy and keep fit.

My goal a few years ago, was all the things I just mentioned, but now, I do this for fun and to avoid having to catch my breath after I run after my little cousins or dog. I don’t use any supplements(nothing wrong with them though) and I’m not on any strict diet or eating plan.
I just eat and prep my food better. So I still enjoy my ice cream, fudge and takeouts but in moderation.

NOPE! I do this for them (they just don’t understand that yet). It’s okay to tell them to buzz off for 30 minutes to an hour. 
They will survive trust me! 😉😉 Your allowed some time to work on yourself! 
As a stay at home mom i don’t get much time to myself so i take full advantage of my daily workouts. I never feel bad taking an hour a day to work on ME!! And you shouldn’t either!
Make it a priority and make it fun!

Some days I go to the gym, some days I walk the kids to the park, and some days I stay home and do a little Les Mills On Demand. I miss teaching BODYPUMP classes, and while I'm not able to do those workouts just yet (that shoulder is still giving me trouble), I love love LOVE doing BODYFLOW at home! BODYFLOW was my very first group fitness class back in 2012! I love the movements and stretches while feeling the strength in my body. My body needs loving movements right now, and BODYFLOW is perfect when the babies are napping.⁣

This. Right. Here!!! 🙌 I learned almost 20 years ago that LIFE is too short to allow FEAR to consume my world. My dad died. 45 yrs young. Life changing for me. Yet, for almost 20 years I have allowed FEAR to be the driver in my own life. I would join a gym and start working out to only be fearful of others watching, fear of not doing something correctly while there, fear of sweating in front of others. I would always quit soon after starting because of that intense fear. Now at 39 yrs old, I found a program that works for me and I workout at home. I love it. However, if I had to go to the gym, I would because joining this program has taught me to not let fear consume me. I have grown quite a bit in the fitness world. I still have insecurities but doing my best to rock some confidence too. 
Moral of this story.....your life isnt promised so dont take moments for granted. Dont let FEAR be a factor in your final decisions. You can allow it to be a passenger in your life but never let it be the driver. You have goals. You have dreams. Go after them. Take it slowly but never give up!

Full day of eats from yesterday- don’t know cals or macros cuz I don’t track em 🤷🏻‍♀️ This spread is pretty spot on with the plan I use as a template! ⁣

🔸Breakfast: Chocolate superfood protein shake with 1 cup of spinach⁣
🔸Lunch: 2 eggs scrambled with: tempeh, peppers, tomatoes, onion, carrots. Plus 1 serving of thai coconut chickpeas (yum)⁣
🔸Snack: Greek yogurt (too sweet- won’t buy this again 🤢) and vanilla almond butter (the best 😻)⁣
🔸Dinner: Spaghetti squash with breaded chicken parm, side salad with dressing⁣

I think it’s human nature for us to instantly think “what am I doing wrong” instead of “what could I be doing right” when we are asked to do something new or different.

Come to find out, I was asked to modify because it is actually more technical and requires better form then to be the intensifier and go all out. Who knew!🤗

Modifying is definitely hard for me because when I do work out for myself… I push hard. But I want to encourage you to try it one time because you would be so surprised that just because although it’s not higher impact… It can still be a great workout that’s quite “intense!“😅

I have “baby’d” my knees for a long time. At 18 I had surgery on my left knee which caused me to favor my right knee more. The right one is bad now as well. With weight gain over many years it made it even harder. So with that being said my squats suck. I saw a post from @beauties.who.beast yesterday and said I am going to do that. Here are a couple of the exercises she done. My squats are no where near deep I still done most of it. I will do more sets tonight as I did not complete the 5. Consistency is key and I have to stick with it if I am going to get that deep squat. Any suggestions are welcomed.

I have “baby’d” my knees for a long time. At 18 I had surgery on my left knee which caused me to favor my right knee more. The right one is bad now as well. With weight gain over many years it made it even harder. So with that being said my squats suck. I saw a post from @beauties.who.beast yesterday and said I am going to do that. Find a programme or hobby that you enjoy doing and you will find the results come a lot quicker than if you were dragging yourself to a gym to do something you hate 💪

I've been sharing fitness motivation since 2010. Years before I was ever linked up with Beachbody.... It's what I love! It's what brings me joy and passion and it's the way I use my talents to bring awareness and inspiration into the world.....⁣

This past year has been the hardest to share publically. ⁣

I’m always sore the next day and i do it to burn out my abs at the end of my ab days allll the time 👌🏻 (i wasn’t being safe by not using a mat so don’t follow my bad example!) 3X10
